E.S. Cropconsult contracts directly with growers to provide Integrated Pest Management monitoring services. Field monitoring for insects, mites, and disease is carried out on a weekly basis, from crop emergence to harvest. Perennial crops are monitored from April or May until August. A detailed report is delivered to growers and/or farm managers after each field visit. For most of our clients, crop monitoring is charged on a per acre basis. Please contact us if you would like more information on our crop monitoring services.

Monitoring tools vary by crop and by pest, but include visual inspection, sticky traps, pheromone traps, beating trays, sweepnet sampling, and inspection under the microscope.
